Professional Statement

Verna Chinen MS, CCC-SLP received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 1979. She is program manager for Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational and Physical Therapy programs and Clinical Supervisor at the UH John A Burns School of Medicine, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). She has a certificate of Clinical Competence, Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and teaches at the UH CSD department.
